La foto d'inizio articolo riguarda l'incendio di una delle raffinerie colpite dallo tsunami. Le costruzioni sferiche sono depositi di carburante.
Il motivo dell'uso di questa foto all'inizio di questo articolo è dovuto al fatto che sui telegiornali, parlando di Fukushima e dell'incidente nucleare, mostravano questa immagine, creando apposta confusione nello spettatore.
Riguardo ad immagini e video di come funzioni una centrale nucleare, ovviamente le pagine di (en.)wikipedia sono ottime.
Un buon video (in inglese) fatto dalla Areva è "in the heart of PWR", che spiega il funzionamento di un reattore ad acqua in pressione.

Riguardo ai parallelepipedi distrutti, quello è stato per l'esplosione dell'idrogeno prodotto dopo l'incidente. A parte qualche dubbio per l'unità 2, i reattori hanno resistito sia al terremoto che al maremoto: i problemi sono arrivati dopo, quando non è più stato possibile far funzionare i sistemi di asportazione del calore.]]>

È esattamente questo il punto. Gli insegnanti non sono motivati, ma qui si parla di motivare gli studenti. È lo studente che deve essere spinto a voler conoscere da sé. Certo, è ovvio che mantenendo la struttura scolastica INVARIATA è molto meglio investire su programmi di valutazioni per gli insegnanti, anzi è l'unica cosa giusta da fare; ma in una versione ipotetica della scuola MODERNA e STUDENTE-CENTRICA lo scopo delle nuove tecnologie sarebbe quello di poter offrire allo studente praticamente tutto, naturalmente sotto la supervisione di un insegnante qualificato e bravo.
Ipotesi 2) Per forza che nella scuola di adesso i tablet (in ogni caso, io non ho mai parlato di tablet nell'articolo. Per nuove tecnologie si intendono anche Lim) servirebbero solo a distrarre ancor di più gli studenti, perché il danno è stato già fatto. Bisognerebbe iniziare a far congiungere i ragazzi con la tecnologia già dalle elementari. Imho, il sistema scolastico è fallato fin dall'inizio.
ipotesi 3) Forse non ho capito bene cosa intendevi, ma io posso dirti per mia esperienza personale (ho cambiato 3 diverse scuole superiori in diversi paesi) che di laboratori e di strumenti nelle scuole ce ne sono a migliaia. Quante volte abbiamo usato queste attrezzature? Mai.

Se come suggerisce l'articolo la tecnologia serve a compensare la mancanza di motivazione degli insegnanti, la vedo una bella road to ruin. L'insegnante non è maggiormente motivato dalla presenza di un tablet in classe. Un pessimo insegnante col gesso diventa un pessimo insegnante col tablet. Molto meglio investire su programmi di valutazioni per gli insegnanti, come ha detto giustamente l'utente sssank.
Ipotesi due) I tablet servono a venire incontro alle vostre capacità mentali (cit.). I ragazzi di oggi non stanno attenti per più di tre minuti. Ah! E il tablet lo aiuta a concentrarsi? O piuttosto lo distrae ancora di più e distrae anche il suo compagnetto che non ha deficit di attenzione? Se dovete ricorrere ai tablet perchè il vostro piccolo urla di panico ogni tre minuti di lezione frontale, risparmiate la spesa e optate per una buona scuola professionale (queste sì assenti in Italia). Senza contare che un buon insegnante che ha passione per il proprio lavoro sa tenere incollati al banco per ore (quasi) tutti (l'utente camo sarà d'accordo). Ma qui ritorniamo sulla questione della valutazione degli insegnanti.
Ipotesi tre) I laboratori/tablet/aggeggetti vari servono come specchietto per le allodole per i genitori, come generico "attestato di qualità e modernità " per attirare iscrizioni. Ma voglio pensar positivo, dà i. Se fosse davvero così esisterebbero molti laboratori e strumenti inutilizzati in molte scuole d'Italia, no? ;) Quindi scartiamo pure questa ipotesi... ;) ;)
Ipotesi quattro) I laboratori servono a far conoscere l'informatica e il modo corretto di utilizzarla a ragazzi la cui famiglia non ha computer a casa. Sembra impossibile, ma nel 2014 ci sono ragazzi che non sanno usare un computer, o non lo sanno usare correttamente. In barba al mito dei "nativi digitali" e altre indianerie. Queste persone subiranno un forte digital divide in età adulta. Ricordo che saper giocare su uno smartphone/tablet non è saper usare un computer, perché gli smartphone/tablet non hanno l'1% della complessità e della potenza di un computer. Questa è l'ipotesi più promettente. Ma per risolvere questo problema non importa sostituire le lezioni frontali. Bastano gli attuali laboratori di informatica, dove anch'io ho imparato i rudimenti dell'utilizzo del computer anni fa.]]>
